About Ruth
I was born in Madrid and since very little I felt that dancing were both my virtue and my passion, so I started my studies when i was only eight years old.
I got my first professional qualification in 1992 at the Conservatory of Dance Mariemma in Madrid, followed by a perfection of my technique and style at the renowned school “Amor de Dios”. After some incursions in the professional scene, I began my teaching career in 1997, until today.
I have been teaching Flamenco, Stylized Dance, Bolero School, and Folklore, as well as Yoga and BellyDance. Dedicated to students of all ages, young and old, from all backgrounds, with professional interests and/or recreational interests only, and I have enjoyed them all and learn each day, while I taught them to dance.
In 2009 I got my degree in Dance (major in Education) at the Conservatory of Madrid Maria de Avila, and in 2011 obtained the Master of Arts at the University Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid (the highest university degree in Spanish Dance). Currently, I've joined the Spanish Dance Society for their qualifications as Dance Teacher.
In addition, I obtained my qualification as a Yoga Instructor by the International School of Yoga in 2007.
